Happy (ahem,cough,cough) Easter!

Dying eggs is one of my favorite traditions about Easter. This was the first year Allison got to participate. My whole family gathered at mom's house and spent the evening dying 3-4 dozen eggs. We like to let them soak a long time in hopes that the colors will be extra vibrant. Some were but others stayed the same color no matter how long they soaked. We had a great time and only temporarily stained her counter tops a little bit.... On Easter morning it was fun to discover that the Easter Bunny had been to our house! He left a trail of eggs to follow from Allison's bedroom to her hidden basket. Clever bunny. Also, Dave and I would like to thank the Easter Bunny for not forgetting about us and grandpa. Every "kid" loves Easter baskets!

Our beautiful girl in her Easter dress. Simply lovely.

We are thankful to be able to celebrate Easter because of the resurection of Jesus Christ. It is because of His atonement that we can continually be forgiven for our sins and short comings and improve who we are everyday.

Happy Easter! (just a little late)
