TWO WEEKS!!
We are so excited to meet this little girl. I am due two weeks from today. We have our next doctors appointment tomorrow. We can't wait to hold her and give her kisses!
I've been getting in trouble lately for having not posted any pictures of my belly, so here you go.
This was taken over the July 4th weekend.

This was taken over the July 4th weekend. And this was taken on July 26th at my baby shower.
So there you have it. All I can say is yikes and when can I start to workout? Thank you to everyone that helped give me a great baby shower and thanks to all those who came. It was so fun to see all of you.

I'll take your challenge
I am responding to Dave's challenge. The doctor said the way I am measuring the baby might be on the larger side. So my guess is she will be born the 10th-12th, weighing 7lbs 8oz, and 22 inches. I am aiming lower than Dave mostly out of pure hope. I hope she is even smaller...6lbs would suit me just fine. Any other guesses?
p.s. you can choose the same day that other people have guessed

Prediction Time!
I have challenged Melanie to guess when Allison will be born and her measurements. My prediction is she will be born between August 4th and August 10th and be 23.5 inches and 8 lbs. and 10 ounces. We invite all to give your predictions.

It has been decided...
Baby Allison is on her way. I have been so indecisive about choosing a name. When it came to girls names there weren't any that I totally loved. But this entire time Dave has LOVED Allison. So finally for Father's Day I gave him his gift; I committed to the name he loves so much. I think it is a pretty name and it is classic. Now we just have to hope that the doctor was correct in saying we are having a girl. If not, well, we have a much easier time deciding on boy names.

Golf
The weather is so nice today. It is a great golf day. It is 75 degrees with only a slight wind...Perfect. Dave and I really like to golf. Although my love cannot compare to the amount of love that Dave has for the game. I feel bad but I probably will not be a great golf partner this summer. Our sweet baby is due in August and I am already not liking the heat.
Here is a picture at one of our favorite courses. It is called Millsite in Ferron, UT. Ferron is not far from Dave's family "cabin" in Emery. We golf there when we stay down at the house.

New Names
Okay, our name choices have changed. So now we need everyone to vote again. I can't believe what a hard time we are having choosing a name. There are just sooo many names!
We are in the 26th week and are getting very excited but it is taking forever...
Also feel free to let us know which spellings you like for the names.

Guess What???
We are going to have a baby GIRL!!! We are so excited. I thought for sure we were having a boy but I guess not. When the tech told us it was a girl I said, "are you sure?", then a few moments later I said, "like a hundred percent?". She said she was 99% sure. I suppose they can't say 100%. So it's a girl. I'm excited for all the girly things to come. Of course she will still learn to play baseball, shoot a basket, and fish among the ballet, sewing, and piano lessons. Just learning everything that a girl should know. Here's to a well rounded little lady!!!

Valentines and Presidents
Well it seems time to post my monthy blog. I know I say I should write more but when it is only Dave and I our lives seems about the same from day to day. We do a lot of fun things but I don't think to write about them. But lets see... For Valentines Day Dave gave me some beautiful pink roses and I gave him some yummy chocolates. The chocolates were from my favorite mom and pop chocolate store called Rebecca's. Rebecca is the wife. She and her husband run it and all the choclates are made right in their store, by them and their employees. It is nice to know where the food I am eating has come from and how it has been prepared. I actually learned about the store because I worked there my senior year of high school for the Valentine month rush. Anyway, that night we went on a double date with my parents. We went to Ruby River Steakhouse and then saw the movie Definatley, Maybe. It was a cute, romantic Valentine movie.
Another little something that made my day happened last Monday. We went looking for Presidents Day sales and found a couple of great ones that allowed us to by a new bed. And not just any bed... a KING size bed!!! I am loving it so much. I love Dave but man, oh, man it is nice to spred out at night and not be cramped.
Well that is all for now. I hope to write again soon.
